Floral Desk Calender/Tutorial/Heartfelt Creations

Hello Crafty Peeps!!
Good morning....
Today we enter in the last month of 2018. Yes, its December,  which is full of celebration . You all are busy in making cards and gifts for Christmas and New Year. So I planned to prepare a tutorial of calendar with some personal touch. You can also create this for yourself or can use for gift purpose. A calendar with a photo frame on back side. Isn't it amazing? So here it is...

Directions:

Step 1: To create the calendar base take white cardstock measuring 19.5" x 9.25". Score at 1/2", 8", 15.5" and 17.5". Crease the score lines using a bone folder, fold and adhere the edge using red tacky tape.
Step 1A: The base is now ready.

Step 2: Cut 2 pieces of border from the white cardstock. Trim the 2 borders and join them as shown.
Step 3: Glue border on the top of the base.
Step 4: Cut 2 pieces of gold foil cardstock measuring 9" x 7.25". Further cut 2 pieces of designer paper measuring 7" x 8.75".
Mat the designer paper on the gold foil cardstock and mat that on the both sides of the base.

Step 5A: To create the calendar box, take a piece of white cardstock measuring 6" x 8". Score at 2.5" and 3" on the long side. Score at 1/2" and 5.5" on smaller side. Place die from Album Tags and Accents Die and run it through the die cutting machine. Notch and trim the sides as shown in the next photo.

Step 5B: Cut 2 pieces of designer paper measuring 2.5"x5" and 5.5"x5.5". Distress the edges of the designer paper using olive green archival. Fold and glue the white cardstock to create box and adhere the designer paper.

Step 6: Cut 2 pieces of decorative border from the white cardstock and glue them on the box. Adhere the box on the base using strong adhesive

Step 7: Print monthly calendar for 2019 on photo paper and cut to 4"x4". Cut 12 pieces of designer paper measuring 4.5" x 4.5". Further cut 12 pieces of white cardstock measuring 4.75"x4.75". Round the corners of all pieces using corner round punch.

Step 8: Cut 12 pieces of border from white cardstock. Sponge dries clear glue on the die cuts and sprinkle with glitter.

Step 9: Adhere all the layers together as shown.

Step 10: Stamp the large Sweet Peony images multiple times on the flower making paper using magenta hue ink and cut with coordinating die. Paint the flowers using same ink. Shape the flowers using small groove tool and create flowers.

Step 11: Stamp Small Sweet Peony flowers using Sunflower ink and cut with coordinating die. Paint the flowers with the same ink and shape them using groove tool. Create some fillers using stamens.
