INSTRUCTIONS:
Ready project measures 10”×9”
Firstly create tree using floral wires and hot glue. Paint tree using acrylic color. Once I done with tree , I altered a pot to place it. Set tree in pot using hot glue . Add green moss using soft gloss gel.

Stamp cherry blossom flowers on flower making paper using vibrant fuchsia ink and cut with coordinating die. Paint flowers with the same ink and shape them using flower shaping mold. Color stamens using vibrant fuchsia ink. Add stamens in the center of flowers using designer glue. Add glitter on the flowers using adhesive that dries clear. Create some bunches of flowers using floral tape. Stamp leaves using olive green ink and paint leaves with leaf green archival. Cut leaves with coordinating die and shape in flower shaping mold. Glue leaves and flowers on tree using hot glue.

Further , stamp bird house and birds on water color paper using black archival. Paint images with zig markers and cut with coordinating dies. Glue bird cage and birds on the tree as shown in the picture.

Altered Flower Vase

Hello Everyone!

I am here on the very first day of the month with our very first challenge of "Mixed Media Academy". It's a mixed media challenge with "Anything Goes" theme. Yes, that means you can create anything using mixed media techniques and stand for a chance to win exciting prize from aur fabulous sponsor. It can be card, tag, layout or any altered art. You can check all the details of challenge here. As a inspirational post, I altered a flower vase.

Memories Keeper

Hello Everyone!!!!

I am here with you, with my new inspirational post for Dadarkar Arts. This time I altered a round cardboard box using Prima's Lavander Frost collection, which is exclusive available on Dadarkar Arts.

First I take a round cardboard box and apply metalic color on the edges.

Choose designer paper from the Lavander Frost collection and cover the box using soft matt gel. Distress the edges using plum archival. Stamp the image on the side of the box using plum archival.

Apply gold metallic texture paste on the lid of the box using stencil.

Color a resin heart frame using metalic paint.

Now apply gold texture paste on frame. Keep it aside. Take some leaves chipzeb and paint them with black gesso. Also brushed metalic paint and gold texture paste.

Glue some paper flowers, chipzeb and heart as shown in the picture. Take a sentiment cutout from lavander frost collection and layer it on the white cardstock. Distress the edges of the sentiment using plum and glue it.

Add some art stones using soft matt gel and glue 2 butterfly emblishment as shown in the picture.

Positive Vibes Blog Hop - Bloom Fully

Happy New Year to all of you my dear crafty friends........
New Year is the time where we all decide to forget our sorrows and problems we faced the previous year and would also love to start the new year with a big smile on our faces with prayer for happiness, success, and prosperity.

Today, is the first blank page of a 365 page book. and we 17 mix media artist have decided to start this year with a "Positive Vibes Blog Hop". We believe in unity, we want to grow together in new year to make a positive atmosphere around us. And also like to support all who want to grow with us..

At the starting of this year, I decided to store all my precious memories, my success of last year. To store all those I decided to altered a box with blooms. Here it is....

Today I have a altered mdf box along with a pictorial for you.

First take a mdf box.

Apply opaque texture paste on the box.

Also randomly apply concrete texture paste as shown in the picture.

Apply heavy white gesso on the entire box.

Mist the box using color bloom spray.

Also mist it with precious stone spray.

Once satisfied with color glue 2 crochet snowflakes using heavy body gel.

Cut some leaves from the ezee pezee paper using Heartfelt's leafy accents die.

Color the leaves using same color which I applied on box.

Shape the leaves in Heartfelt's 3d shaping mold.

Cut some flowers from the same paper using Heartfelt's blazing poppy die.

Color the flowers using color bloom's wild raspberry spray.

Arrange flowers, leaves along with Mudra's leaves chipzeb. Once satisfied with arrangement, glue them using hot melted glue.

Again mist with precious stone spray to create shadow effect.

Apply white gesso using dry brush technique to balance the color. Glue some art stones and art pebbles using soft matt gel. Apply some soft matt gel on the flowers and all gold glass glitter on them.
