Aster Gatefold Card

Hey Friends!

Today, here is another card using "Booklet Frames And  Accents" die. This card I create a gatefold using "Swirly Accents Spray" die. I faced some problems to make gatefold in this shape, but the result is fabulous.  Vellum Butterfly from "Butterfly Dreams" collection enhance the beauty of this card.

Smooth cardstock,  vellum paper,  versamark,  glitter, yellow micro beads, distress oxide , glitter

INSTRUCTIONS:
First take a piece of white cardstock measures 13”×6.25”. Score on 3.25” and 9.75”.  Fold score lines and create a gatefold card. Cut it with Swirly Accents Spray die to make it shaped gatefold card. Choose pattern paper from designer paper collection and cut pieces according to the card size using same dies. Mat designer paper on card base. Cut 4 piece decorative border from white cardstock using Swirly Accents Spray Die.  Glue them as shown.

Cut a oval piece from white cardstock using largest Oval die and 2 more from designer paper using 2nd and 3rd largest dies. Also cut 2 borders from white cardstock using another die from Swirly Accents Spray Die. Glue all oval piece and borders on the center of the card as shown. Stamp Aster flower on deluxe flower shaping paper using plum ink and leaves using library green archival. Cut images with their coordinating dies.  Paint flowers with magenta hue and plum ink. Shape with groove tool.  Layer flowers and all yellow micro beads in the center of flowers using designer dries glue. Paint leaves  with leaf green and library green archival. Also shape leaves. Arrange flowers and leaves and glue them using hot glue.

Stamp 2 butterfly image on vellum paper using versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Cut with coordinating die. Color butterfly with distress oxide and glue it as shown in the picture. Cut a sentiment from same paper collection and adhere it on card using dimensional tape. For finished look apply glitter using clear dry glue.

Smooth white cardstock, vellum paper, satin cord, micro pearls, sisal, glitter,  clear water droplets.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Ready tent fold card measures
First, cut a upside fold card from white cardstock using large Booklet Basics die. Then cut a book frame from white cardstock using large Booklet Frames die. Distress  the edges of border using Vivid  Chartreuse ink. Mat it on card base. Cut 2 more pages from white cardstock using large Booklet Basics Die. Choose a pattern paper from designer paper collection and cut 3 pages using second largest Booklet Basics Die. Distress the edges of pages with matching ink. Mat them on white cardstock pages. Glue these pages on card from center. Cut a bookmark using die from white cardstock and glue it as shown.

Cut 2 corners from white cardstock using Swirly Accents Spray die. Glue them on the opposite corner of book page as shown. Stamp sentiment using black Archival ink.

For flowers: Stamp small sweet peony flowers on deluxe  flower shaping paper using plum and vibrant fuchsia ink. Cut with coordinating die and paint with same ink. Shape flowers using groove tool and add Rock Candy stamens small in the center of flowers. For small flowers, I used floral Fashionista stamp. Stamp flowers using Buttercup archrival and cut with coordinating die. Sponge flowers with same ink and shape with groove tool.  For center, I use Assorted bead stamens Medium. Further, stamp leaves using olive green Archival on deluxe flower shaping paper and cut with coordinating dies. Paint leaves with leaf green and olive green archrival. Shape leaves using shaping Mold.

Glue some sisal and then arrange flowers and leaves as shown. Apply hot glue on Assorted Bead stamens Medium and dip it in micro pearls. Create 3 stamens like that and glue them. Stamp Butterfly Border on vellum paper using versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder.  Cut with coordinating die. Trim butterflies from border and glue them. Tie a bow using satin cord and glue it on the card.  Glue some  water droplets using clear dry glue. For finished look apply clear dry glue and add glitter and micro pearls on flowers as shown.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Ready to side fold card measures 6.5"×6.5"
To prepare card mat choose a pattern paper from the designer paper collection and cut a piece measures 6.25”×6.25”. Mat it on ready card base. Fur, choose a 6”×6” card panel from same collection and mat it on white cardstock which is 1/8 of an inch bigger from all 4 sides. Adhere it on card using dimensional tape. Cut a half dolly from white cardstock using Starry Night Decorative die.  Glue it on right side of card.

Cut 2 borders from white cardstock using Starry Night Decorative die. Glue it from the back side of 1.25”  strip of designer paper. Adhere it on bottom side of card using dimensional tape as shown. Cut one more strip from designer paper measures 0.75”×6”. Mat it on white cardstock which is 1/8of an inch bigger from all 4 sides.  Glue it also on card as shown.

Stamp flowers and leaves from Wild Aster stamp on deluxe flower shaping paper using plum archival and olive green  archival. Cut with coordinating dies and paint using stack & store dauber with same ink. Shape using groove tool. Add micro beads into center of flowers using designer clear dry glue. Stamp some floral spray from Wild Aster Spray stamp on watercolor paper using black archival.  Paint images with zig markers and cut with coordinating die. Arrange elements on card using hot glue.  Stamp  sentiment from Wild Aster Scroll & Cluster stamp on watercolor paper using black archival. Paint image using zig markers and cut with coordinating die. Adhere sentiment on the left side of strip using dimensional tape as shown.
For finished look apply glitter using adhesive that dries clear.

INUSTRUCTION::
Ready upside fold card measures 6.25”×6.25”
Firstly,  cut a 6”×6”card panel from designer paper collection. Distress the edges with matching ink and mat it on ready card base. Cut a half dolly from white cardstock using Starry Night Decorative die and glue it on right side of the card as shown in the picture. Further, cut another piece of pattern paper from same designer paper collection measures 5.75”×5.75” and a piece  of white cardstock measure 6”×6”. Cut one edge of both paper using Fleur Border Basics die. Glue both of them on card base using dimensional tape as shown.

Stamp Wild aster flowers on deluxe flower shaping paper using deep purple archival and cut with coordinating dies. Sponge flowers with same ink and shape using groove tool. Add yellow micro beads in the center. Apply glitter using designer clear dries glue and keep aside. Stamp leaves using olive green archival and cut with coordinating die. Sponge leaves using leaf green and olive green archival and slightly shape them. Stamp floral spray from Wild Aster Spray Stamp on watercolor paper using black archival. Paint image with zig markers and cut with coordinating die.

Arrange all elements in desired manner and glue with hot melted glue. Cut a sentiment from designer paper collection and mat it on white cardstock. Add sentiment on bottom left corner of the card using dimensional tape as shown.
