Poinsettias basket

Hello Crafty Folks,

Good Morning......

It's Heartfelt wednesday and yes it's time for inspiration.  Today I have created a gift basket using "Heart Of Joy Decorative" die from "Candy Cane Cottage" Collection and vellum Poinsettias flower.

INSTRUCTIONS :
Ready project measures 6”×6”×8”
First, take a piece of white cardstock measures 8”×8”. Score on 1” from all four side and create a tray. Cut 4 piece of half decorative dolly from white cardstock using  .Also cut 8 piece of half circle from pattern paper from designer paper collection.  Glue half round of pattern paper on decorative dolly die cut. Add glitter on all 4 dollies using clear dry glue.

Fold decorative dolly into half and glue on all four side of tray. Now glue half Circle pattern paper from inside  .Cut a piece of pattern paper from designer paper collection measures 5 7/8”×5 7/8”. Glue it inside the base of basket. Now take a piece of white cardstock measures 18”×2.5". Cut border on both side of strip using Starry Night decorative die. Cut ½” wide strip from pattern paper and glue it on the center of border strip. Glue border as handle as shown. Cut 8 piece circles from white cardstock using Eyelet Circle small Basics die.  Glue it on the joint of handle using dimensional tape to give button effect.

Stamp Poinsettia flowers on vellum paper using versamark  and heat emboss with white embossing powder.  Cut with coordinating die and paint with broken china distress oxide. Shape flowers using round object . Stamp Leafy Accents leaves on vellum paper using versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Cut with coordinating die and slightly shape them. Arrange flowers and leaves and glue them using hot glue. Tie some bow using satin twin and glue them. For finished look apply glitter on flowers using glue.

Let it Glow

Another heartfelt wednesday and I am back with another Christmas card. This time I create a ornament shape card in mixedmedia form.

Instructions: 

Ready card measures 7”diameter
Take a smooth white cardstock and cut 2 pc of ornaments. Tie both pieces using white cord. For mating choose a designer paper from Merry & Bright paper collection and cut a circle measures 6.75” diameter.  Distress the edges of the pattern paper using a pair of scissors. Layer it on the ready card base using dimensional tape for added dimensions.
Apply clear gesso on the pattern paper and leave it to dry. Apply white texture paste using stencil. Also glue some cheese cloth using soft matt gel.  Mist the color for more effect.  Once I am satisfied with the color effect, I add some glitter using soft matt gel.


Stamp poinsettia flower using versamark and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. Stamp some pine leaves using versamark and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  Cut the flowers and leaves with coordinating die and color the flowers using aquamarine archival. Shape the flowers using deluxe flower shaping kit.


Glue dry branches chipboard on the right side of the card using hot melted glue. Arrange the flowers and leaves on the card using hot melted glue as shown in the picture.  Cut a decorative die cut using Noel Ornament Die . Stam a sentiment using Noel Sentiments stamp using versamark and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. Add the sentiment on the left side of the card using dimensional tape as shown in the picture.


Apply gesso on the flowers and leaves using dry brush technique. For the finished look apply frosted sugar and sparkling dust on the flowers.

Poinsettias Card

It's inspirational Wednesday and we all come with new creations to inspire you. This time I create a card with beautiful poinsettia flowers. This is my first try on poinsettia flowers. Hope you like it.

INSTRUCTIONS:-

Ready top side fold card measures 6.5"×6.5"
 To prepare the card mats , first choose a pattern paper from the designer paper collection and cut a piece measuring 6.25"×6.25", mat it on the ready card base. Choose a card panel from the designer paper collection and cut it. Layer it on the white cardstock,  1/16" of an inch bigger on all 4 sides. Further , layer it on the ready card base using dimensional tape for added dimensions.
Take two pieces of same designer paper and cut diagonally.  Adhere it on the ready card base using dimensional tape as shown in the picture. Stamp the large poinsettia flower on the flower making paper using Red Geranium color and cut with coordinating dies. Paint the flowers with same color and shape them. Also stamp leaves using library green color and cut with coordinating dies. Color the leaves using library green and emerald green color and slightly shape them.
Arrange the flowers and leaves on the card and glue them using hot melted glue. Also glue some cherry pollens. Tie a bow using white cord and glue it on the card. Cut a sentiment ticket from the same collection and layer it on the white cardstock. Also cut a tag from the same collection and  layer it on the card using dimensional tape as shown in the picture.
For the finished look apply sparkling dust and frosted sugar on the flowers using adhesive that dries clear.
